L.E.K. Consulting | Link to L.E.K. Program | Deadline: Mar. 15, 2020

L.E.K. Consulting is excited to announce its Link to L.E.K. program, an immersive 3-day program designed to provide life sciences PhD/MD students graduating in 2021 and post-docs with an in-depth view of life sciences strategy consulting and more specifically, the Life Sciences Specialist role. This program will take place in L.E.K.’s Boston office and feature opportunities to:

• Learn more about L.E.K. as a firm and the type of work they do
• Gain hands-on experience working through a simulated case with life sciences consultants and present findings to senior management
• Attend social events and network with all levels of life sciences staff
• Participants will receive an accelerated invitation to final round interviews in June

L.E.K. will cover travel and lodging for non-local participants. If interested, please submit a resume and cover letter describing your interest in the program by Sunday, March 15, 2020 using the link here. Selected candidates will be invited to a case interview (via video) in late March and program invites will be extended by early-mid April.

BCG | Connection event for Bridge to BCG Program | Deadline: Mar. 8, 2020

The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is excited to announce the Bridge to BCG program intended for Advanced Degree Candidates (ADCs; PhD, MD, JD and Postdoc students). This is a three-day summer workshop designed to help ADCs test-drive the BCG case team experience and:

• Find out more about the consulting profession and what makes BCG special
• Solve a BCG case in a realistic case team simulation
• Network with our junior and senior consulting staff, including ADC alumni
• Create memories and having fun at social activities with other participants and BCGers
• Access interview prep resources
• Get an invitation to a first-round interview in June 2020

If you are interested in learning more about their Bridge to BCG program, what a career in consulting looks like for an ADC, and learning about the work they do, join them at their upcoming event in Toronto – Toronto ADC Bridge Connection Event. This event is open to current PhD, Postdoc, JD and MD students who plan to begin working full-time in 2021. ADCs from all universities are welcome to apply. The event will consist of a content presentation, followed by a networking reception at Prenup Pub (191 College Street), during which you will have the chance to connect further with the BCG team.
