Established in 2011, UBC’s Student Leadership Conference (SLC) Showcase award celebrates outstanding student organizations that fulfil a need in the local community and develop leaders of tomorrow. This year, the UBC chapter of GMCA was chosen as a recipient of this award for helping graduate students and postdoctoral trainees transition to the world of business management and consulting via its annual Mini-MBA workshop, career info sessions and active network of mentors and peers.
